Michael W. Hanna, MBA, CFP®, RICP®, AEP®

Mike is a graduate of New York University, cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics and Philosophy, and has earned a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the Stern School of Business at NYU. He maintains Series 7 and 66, as well as Life & Health Insurance licenses. Mike has also obtained the CFP® certification, a select group of financial professionals who have completed extensive training, experience requirements and are held to rigorous ethical standards. He also holds the RICP (Retirement Income Certified Professional) and AEP (Accredited Estate Planner) designations.  

He is a qualifying member of the prestigious Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), an elite international network of the top 5% of financial professionals globally, who serve their clients with exemplary performance and the highest standards of ethics, knowledge, and productivity. He is also an active member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA), the Society of Financial Service Professionals (FSP), the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting (AALU), the Estate Planning Council of New York City (EPCNYC), and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA).

Mike stays involved in his community, volunteering as a math tutor to underprivileged students. He sponsors numerous disadvantaged children around the world through Children International, an organization that helps children escape poverty and achieve their dreams. Mike also donates to several charities, including UNICEF and CARE and stays active in the NYU Alumni community as an investor of the Haskins Giving Society.

Mike's outside interests include world travel, jazz, chess, the culinary arts and water sports.

Victoria A. T. Henning- Smejda, MA, CFA

Victoria concentrates on helping people pursue the financial future they envision. She works closely with clients to understand their financial objectives and helps them to develop a clear, actionable and flexible strategy that connects them with the best products and solutions designed to help achieve those goals over time. Victoria focuses on wealth accumulation, tax efficient investments, retirement income and distribution strategies, estate and charitable planning, asset protection strategies, and education funding.

In addition to being a CFA® charterholder, Victoria is a qualifying member of the prestigious Million Dollar Round Table, an international, independent association in which members demonstrate exceptional professional knowledge, strict ethical conduct and outstanding client service. MDRT membership is recognized internationally as the standard of sales excellence in the life insurance and financial services business.

Victoria is a graduate of New York University, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics, Economics, and Romance Languages (with a concentration in Spanish and French), and has earned her Masters in Economics from the Graduate School at NYU. She is fluent in Spanish and French, and is conversant in German. Victoria maintains her Series 7 and Series 66, as well as Life and Health Insurance licenses.

Victoria’s interests include skiing, world travel, pilates, chess and debate.
